Gerald ErnestWRINGIn loving memory of Gerald Ernest Wring, a resilient soul who graced this world with his presence for 70 remarkable years. Born in February 1953, Gerry's journey on this earthly sphere came to an end on Monday, the 8th of January 2024, as he peacefully succumbed to the challenges posed by a prolonged battle with bowel and liver cancer. He was the father of Matthew and Karlie and Grandad to four, soon to be five grandkids. Gerry's roller coaster of a life may have come to a stop, but the echoes of his dry sense of humour will continue to resonate in the memories of those who shared the stage with him. May his legacy be a reminder that life's absurdity is best faced with a crafty smile and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Wherever you are now, keep dancing to Mud's "Tiger Feet" and strumming your tennis racquet to Dire Straits and may you now find internal peace with your parents Ernest and Pamela. If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the Cross Keys pub (Hanham) on 17th February at 2pm.
