AlanVARDYFelling Peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Sunday 5th August, aged 92 years, Alan. Dearly loved husband of Elsie, much loved Dad of David, loving Grandad to Graeme and Helen and to his four great granddaughters. Friends invited to service at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 15th August at 1pm. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at Heworth Golf Club. No flowers please but donations in lieu may be made at the service for St Oswald's Hospice. Please wear bright colours for this celebration of Alan's life.
