DerekBENTONIt is with sadness to announce that Derek has passed away at RSUH on 13th September 2024, aged 95 years.
A treasured and much loved husband to Nancy, an unforgettable uncle to his nieces and nephews and a cherished great uncle and great-great uncle.
May his love of reading, his beloved dog and cars stay in the memory of those he leaves behind. May he rest in eternal peace.
Derek's funeral service is to be held on Friday 4th October 2024, 12noon at Carmountside Crematorium. Mourners are invited to meet at the crematorium, where friends and family will gather for the service, and afterwards to share in the memories of Derek, at The Trent Country Club, Birches Head.
Family flowers are preferred however, should you wish to donate in loving memory of Derek, monies will be divided between the Dougie Mac Hospice and the RSPCA charity.
