John WilliamASHPeacefully at rest following a short illness, borne with great courage and dignity on Wednesday 30th April 2025 at The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton, surrounded by his loving family John aged 81 years of Parkhall, Weston Coyney, formerly of Longton.

The dearly beloved husband of Margaret. Much loved and loving dad of Julie and Will. Respected father in law of Clare. A devoted grandad and a very dear brother and uncle. John will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.

The funeral cortege will leave his home on Tuesday 27th May at 11.00am for service at St. James Church Longton at 11.15am, followed by interment at Longton Cemetery.

Would relatives kindly accept this the only intimation, friends wishing to attend please meet at the Church.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of John would be much appreciated for The Douglas Macmillan Hospice Blurton. Donations may be made via the online link or c/o The Funeral Director.

So sad that John as past away had many a time talking down Trentham gardens about longton sandfordhill parkhall and how places have changed he loved to talk about it rip
