Robert BrianBARKWELLPassed away peacefully on Thursday 26th September, aged 62 years. Cherished son of Mary, much loved husband of Carol, loving brother of Michael, dear dad of Lucy and Jack, and treasured granddad of Zara, Amelia, Freya and Imogen. Robert will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. A Thanksgiving Service will be held at All Saints Church, Okehampton on Friday 18th October at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to Yarty Ward, R D & E Hospital by retiring collection or sent c/o Drew and Sons Funeral Directors, 01647 231306

I worked for Rob few a few years back in the late 90’s … I fell on hard times, He made sure me & family were always ok by making sure I always had work, He even offered to pay for wife to have care for a week. True Gent, I know he will be missed by a lot of people.

Rob. I have been thinking about the great times we had when we were young, our ski trips and holidays in Rock. I am sorry we didn’t manage our catch-up in the last few days. I will miss you even though we hadn’t been in touch often in recent years. Paul Crocker
