Loving husband of Vera, treasured dad of Robert, Philip, Mary, Howard and Alison, adored grandad and great grandad and a great friend to many.
A funeral service will take place at St Chad Church, Seighford on Tuesday 20th August at 11am, followed by an interment in the churchyard.
Family flowers only please, donations can be given in memory of John to St Chad Church and Haughton Church.
