JessieMACKENZIEIt is with deep sorrow that the family announce her passing on 21st June 2024, aged 93, after a short illness at Cheltenham General Hospital. She was a much loved and cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and so fondly remembered by members of her family back in her homeland of Scotland.

Many will remember with affection and gratitude her service as Akela to the Up Hatherley Cub pack in the 1970's and 80's, leading to her becoming the Assistant District Commissioner for the area.

Babs was a wonderful example to us all and lived a strong and independent life up until her passing. She was an inspirational mother and 'fun' Granny and Great-Grandmother, so deeply supportive and involved with each one of them.

Funeral Service to take place at Cheltenham Crematorium, Willow Chapel at 10.30am on Tuesday 16th July.
