On 8th December, aged 98, peacefully at Abbeyfield Extra Care, William (Bill, former Northumbria Police Sergeant).
Beloved husband of the late Bette, dearly loved father to son Stephen and daughter-in-law Lynne, adored grandfather of Claire and Kit and much loved granda Bill to great granddaughters Mae, Corinne and Isobel.
A funeral service will take place at St Michael's Church, Alnwick on Monday 6th January 2025 at 11:00am, followed by interment at Alnwick Cemetery. Friends please meet at the church.
Bill's warmth and humour will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
