TydwenDAVIESWith her daughter Janet and surrounded by love at Swn Y Gan Tydwen died as beautifully as she had lived on 3rd February. Widow of David Rhidian Davies; sister of the late Mary and sister in law of the late Cyril; mother in law of the late John; fun nanna of Sky; great grand mother of Eliza and of Ivy; deeply loved by Howard, Maureen, Sian, Kathryn, Michael, Nerys and Lisa and by all of the rest of her family and by her innumerable friends; provider of toast and of other treats to her special friend Molly the dog. A truly good person. Tydwen's long life will be celebrated at Swansea (Morriston) Crematorium on 27th February at 3 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to Wales Air Ambulance or to Dementia UK via www.inkinanddeans.co.uk or sent to Anthony Inkin and Paul Deans, Funeral Directors, Kilby Court, Loughor, Swansea, SA4 6RQ.

I will forever be thankful and grateful to have had such a wonderful grandmother and for my little girls to have had the chance to meet their brilliant, kind and outright hilarious great grandmother. Words will never be able to describe the lasting effect that my nan has had on my life and I only hope I can pass on to my girls, all that she provided for me.

To the best Nan/Great-Grandmother that anyone could have wished for... We will never forget you. We love you 🩷

Tydwen was a much loved lady, she touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. Tydwen lived a wonderful life, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and joy that will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Tydwen will be forever remembered for her strength, grace, and the love she gave so freely. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
