Desmond CyrilBURROWSThe Burrows family are sad to announce the death of Desmond Cyril Burrows who passed away on Friday 30th August 2024.

A Requiem Mass will be held at The Church of the Assumption, Beeston on Wednesday 18th September at 12.30pm. Cremation will follow shortly after at Bramcote Crematorium at 2.00pm.

Friends are most welcome as we celebrate his life.

Any donations to either Emmanuel House or Headcase Cancer Trust Charity would be appreciated instead of flowers which may be sent care of

I met Des as he ventured out on what I can only assume was his last solo walk around the block in 2022. I spotted him out the window and he looked to be a tad overwhelmed so I went out to help him. From there, we had a lovely but short friendship. I loved popping round for a cup of tea and hearing his stories and how fondly he spoke of his family and late wife. He was a wonderful man.
