Carol PenelopeGARBETTDaughter of the late Trevor and Edna (Penny). Died peacefully at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital on 7th June after a long illness stoically borne. An inspirational teacher of music and bridge and a good friend to many. A private cremation took place on 9th July. Grateful thanks to everyone who was involved in Carol's care.

I will never forget the tour of "The Pirates of Penzance" to Canada and the USA in 1979. This was one of Carol's brainchilds and proved a great success. Her organisational skills were tops !

RIP Carol, a very generous friend, always interested in other people, the most organised person ever - even down to the non funeral. You were a one off and are very much missed.
