MargaretBALSHAWMRS Margaret Balshaw, of Walker Barn Farm, Bacup, died on Monday, September 16, at The Laurels Care Home, aged 92. Margaret farmed all her married life with her late husband Arthur. They had a milk delivery round in Bacup for several years. Her family life was very important to her. She enjoyed baking, jam making, puzzles, picnics and days out in the Yorkshire Dales. Wife of the late Arthur, she leaves daughters Ann and June, sons-in-law Bill and Bernard, grandchildren Beverley, Russell, Wayne and Carl, daughters-in-law Rachel, Stacey and Alison, 10 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Phyllis and nieces and nephews. A funeral service conducted by the Revd David Brae took place at Christ Church, Bacup, on Wednesday, September 25, followed by burial at Bacup Cemetery Donations have been requested for North West Air Ambulance.
