ReneeLORDof Blackthorn Lane, Bacup, died on Saturday, August 17, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 79. She worked at the Bacup Times, J D Inghams, as a cafe waitress, bookkeeping, in a fishing tackle shop, on the markets, as an electrician, at CBS Records Security, Greenwoods and Coupe Materials. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, watching tennis, wordsearch puzzles and watching films. Mother of Lee and Craig Mannion and the late Heather Barclay, she was grandmother to Jason Mannion, Dayle Barclay, Rosanna, Claire, Danny, and Callum Mannion, and a great grandmother to Kaiden and Jaden. A celebration of life service, conducted by the Revd Philip Norris, will take place at Burnley Crematorium on Friday, August 30, at 1.40pm.
