NovaWATSONPassed away peacefully in her Birmingham Care Home on 27th June, aged 87 years. Nova, beloved wife of the late Derek, mother of Duncan and David and grandma/nana of Anna, Maddy, Ruth and Amy. Much loved sister, aunt, great aunt and friend to so many near and far. The funeral service will take place at Stanley United Reformed Church at 11.30 on Monday 17th July followed by Mountsett Crematorium and then at the Black Horse, Beamish. Please wear bright colours to celebrate Nova's colourful life. Family flowers only please, donations welcome to Save the Children Fund; a box will be available. Miss Williamson was my favourite teacher at Stanley Grammar, her English lessons were always lively and interesting. She and Mr Watson took us on a walking holiday to the Brecon Beacons. It still remains my most memorable holiday 57 years later! She was a lovely person and my condolences go to her family. Janice Davinson
