DerekBAMFORTHOn 18 February 2025, Derek, aged 93, peacefully in the loving care of Tolson Grange Care Home, Dalton, formerly of Mount and South Crosland. He was the dearly loved husband of Anne, loving father of Darren and Gina, dear father-in-law of Sean and proud and loving grandpa of Brandon. Derek will be very sadly missed by all who knew him. We would like to thank all the staff at Tolson Grange for the excellent care given to Derek during his last months and also for the support given to our family at such a difficult time.

A celebration of Derek's life will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium on Monday 17 March 2025 at 11.15am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, in Derek's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Research UK c/o Radcliffe Funeral Service, 16 Westgate, Honley, Holmfirth, HD9 6AA or online at radcliffefuneralservice.co.uk -obituaries. A donation box will be available at the service. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium.
