Anthony EdwardGRIMESPassed away at Stoke-On-Trent Hospital on Wednesday 4th September 2024, aged 87 years. A former Torbay Rambler. Devoted husband of Janet, father to Philip and Lisa.

Anthony will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Torquay Crematorium on Friday 27th September at 11.30am. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired are for The British Heart Foundation which maybe given by retiring collection, online at www.kjlackfuneralservice.co.uk or sent to K.J. I first came across Tony when the Cornwall and Devon LDWA organised the 1994 Dartmoor hundred. My husband was also involved and during that weekend we formed a firm friendship that has lasted decades. Tony helped us on our Dartmoor Kanter events. He always wanted to do his allocated task right. Tony also followed the progress of many LDWA members as they accumulated hundred completions. A true and sincere friend.

Tony was a frequent and great walking companion with the LDWA. Well I remember our Across Wales Walk experiences and enjoying a beer afterwards in Aberystwyth.
Although unable to be with family and friends for the celebration of Tony's life, my thoughts will be with you. Paul (Whittaker)
