Ian DavidRICHARDSIan passed away at his home in Main Street, Dorrington, Lincolnshire from heart disease. Ian lost his beloved wife, Barbara, in 2018. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle. Ian was the son of Florence and Ernest Richards. He grew up in Southgate with his parents and sister Patricia. Ian was a pharmacist up until the age of 68 years old when he retired. He began his long career as a pharmacist manager for Boots the chemist in Moorgate. It was while working here that he met Barbara Anne Deboo, they married in 1968 and went on to have two children, Emma and James. Ian and Barbara relocated to Lincolnshire in 2001 and loved their life in the little village of Dorrington. Ian had many hobbies including reading, music, carpentry, Arsenal FC, and more recently started building Airfix models which kept his mind occupied.
Ian will be fondly remembered by his family and friends and will be sorely missed. Ian is survived by his daughter Emma, son Jim, sister Patricia, nephews Simon and Timothy and grandchildren Lillie, Brandon and Amelia.
The funeral will take place at Lincoln Crematorium on Friday 30th August at 12.30pm.
