Dr Laurence JohnBURNSLaurie, formerly of Brownlow Hill, passed away peacefully on 18th August aged 97 years.
The beloved husband of the late Patricia, much loved father of Alec, Fiona, Hilary, Ruth & Kate and a dear father in law, grandad and great grandad.
A Requiem Mass will take place at 1:00pm on Tuesday 10th September at St Austin's RC Church, Wentworth Terrace, Wakefield WF1 3QN followed by interment at Wakefield Cemetery, Sugar Lane, Wakefield WF1 5LF.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu for Wakefield Hospice & The Little Sisters of the Poor for which a box will be provided at the service.
