DavidDIXONIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David peacefully in hospital, on 8th December 2024 aged 81 years, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved, cherished and devoted Husband to Ann, adored Dad to Mark and Fiona, much loved Father in law to Colin and Laura, the most wonderful Grandad to Alice, Austen, Charlie and Beth and well loved Brother to Stephen, Jeff and the late Dorothy. Also Uncle and Friend. The most generous, funny, caring and gentle man who had time for everyone and was loved by all who knew him. Friends please meet for a committal service at Mountsett Crematorium on Friday 27th December at 11:45am followed by a memorial service at Christ Church, Consett at 12:30pm. Immediate family flowers only.
Donations would be gratefully received on the day with proceeds being shared between Christ Church, Consett and Parkinson's UK.
