(Chris)DR. CHRISTOPHER TURNERPeacefully on 10th September 2024 at Annfield House Care Home, Christopher aged 85.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle to the family.

He was a Professor in the department of Sociology and Social Policy. 1976 - 2002 at Stirling University. Also Co-Founder of Friends of Bridge of Allan.

Family have asked if you could wear a splash of purple.

Funeral will take place on Friday 27th September at Stirlingshire Crematorium at 1pm.

Donations kindly received will go to Parkinson's Research.

It has been our great pleasure to know Chris and Eileen since I was a teenager. When I later marrried Sarah that friendship continued. We always knew we were welcome in Bridge of Allan and have enjoyed catching up over the years. Chris taught me how to put back a dislocated knee and fortunately I have only had to do it once. Our love to Eileen and all the family. Duncan and Sarah
