Dr Peter Aston was a huge part of my childhood. He cared so kindly for my father, Frank Hughes, through his illnesses and then was with him at the end. Nothing was ever too much for him he was always there. I believe it was he that put me on the road to my nursing career. Whenever we met through the years he always was so interested in what I was doing. A true gentleman and a great GP. Not only a doctor to my Dad but Rita and Peter were great friends to my parents and I will treasure the fun times and great memories we had as families together. RIP Peter, you will always be remembered.
