FrankDAWSON- Lance Serjeant, 12th Battalion, Manchester Regiment, formally of 167 Ordsall Lane, Salford, killed at the Battle Of The Somme on 7th July 1916 aged 39. A grandfather never known to us, but his sacrifice is acknowledged with great pride and eternal gratitude by his grandsons Wally and Derek Mitchell and their Families.
