"Dai Jenks"

Peacefully on Thursday 8th August 2024 at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen, following an illness he has borne with wonderful courage and dignity, Dai aged 74 years of Ferryside sadly passed away. The loving and dearly loved husband of Liz, very proud cherished father of Barnes and Anthony, much loved brother of Vivian, Huw, Edward and the late Ian.

"David was a dearly loved local family Practitioner who will be greatly missed by all his family, many friends and patients throughout the Community. Respected by all who knew and loved him."

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday 21st August 2024, a warm welcome for everyone to join the family at St. Thomas' Church, Ferryside at 12noon. A Private Burial Service will follow.

Family flowers only please, but donations in David's memory, if desired to either The Guide Dogs for the Blind or The Salvation Army c/o Funeral Director Ian M Smith of Autumn Leaf Independent Family Funeral Directors, The Old Vestry, Tabernacle, Seaview Terrace, Burry Port, Carms, SA16 0EN. A very dear cousin who will be greatly missed as will his wit and (sometimes politically incorrect) humour.

He is no longer with us but he will be for ever in our thoughts.
