MargaretGAFFNEY(Whickham, Formerly of 62 Nile Street, Gateshead). Peacefully on the 24th September 2024 aged 94 years, Margaret (Peggy), the beloved and devoted wife of the late Ken, devoted mother of David, Susan, Kevin and Michael, dearest mother-in-law of Helen and Hilary, a loving grandma of Elisabeth, Adam, Christopher, Emma, Alexander and Cameron and a great-grandma of Kate, Daniel, Zachary, Oliver and Laluna, also a devoted sister to Winifred, Molly and brother-in-law John.
Peggy will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Wilfrid's RC Church, Gateshead, on Tuesday 15th October at 2pm, which will be followed by cremation at Saltwell Crematorium at 3.15pm.
By request family flowers only, Donations if desired to The Special Care Baby Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. A donation box will be available at the church and crematorium.
All welcome afterwards to The Ravensworth Arms, Lamesley.
