Treasured husband of Ronnie, dear father of Lucy and Libby, loving brother of Jennifer and a much loved grandfather and great grandfather. There will be no funeral service at Peter's request.

Such sad news, Peter was so lovely and kind to me. And seeing the very high esteem vets who had been taught by him held him in was impressive to watch

Very sad to hear the news. He was a wonderful man and a great support to me during my adventures as a student at Cambridge vet school. Fond memories of sharing his lunch with me in his office while we put the world to right. RIP Peter from Helen o'Hare xxx
