Derek CharlesHARPEROn 30th May 2026, peacefully in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with Liz and Amanda at his side, Derek Charles Harper, Carlingwark Street, Castle Douglas.

Beloved husband of Liz and a treasured dad of Amanda, father-in-law of Mick and papa of Oscar and Hugo.

Funeral service will be held in Castle Douglas Parish Church followed by interment in Castle Douglas Cemetery. Date and time to be confirmed. Please see window notices or www.ianbendallfunerals.co.uk for details.

All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please. If so desired, donations to Castle Douglas Hospital League of Friends and Ward C4 at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary may be given at the service.
