Melanie Frances Bloxham
on 5th September 2026.
Lane was a valued friend to all and a cherished partner. She was wonderfully caring and loving,
always eager to help everyone and especially those with mobility issues. She loved animals and
volunteered at and supported local animal charities.
To celebrate Lane's life, we would like to invite you to the funeral service, to be held on
Friday 23rd October 2026 at 3 pm, at Thanet Crematorium, Margate CT9 4LY.
In keeping with Lane's love of all things dramatic, bumblebee and rainbow, we would request that
guests wear dark clothes with at least one item of bright colour. We also ask that instead of
sending flowers, would you donate to a cause that was close to Lane's heart:
Missing Cats and Strays in Thanet
Once the service has finished, we shall be holding a wake in Broadstairs, where family and friends
will raise a toast to Lane. If you have any favourite memories or kind words you would like to
share, we would love to hear them.
Please let us know if you will be attending so we have an idea of how many people to expect on
the day, thank you.
