AltheaTAVINORIt is with the deepest sadness that we announce the death of Alethea (Al) Tavinor 93 years, widow of the late Basil, beloved mother of Sara. Al passed away peacefully at her home on 12th August 2026 following a long illness borne with strength.

Al was an adored sister and aunt, and was well loved by family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Al will always be remembered for her compassion, kindness and generous nature. She had a joyous life filled with love, faith and devotion to those she cherished.

A service to commemorate her life will be held on Friday 4th September at 1.30pm, at All Saints Church, Oystermouth followed by a private service of committal.

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu if desired may be sent to Marie Curie, West Wales Fundraising Office, Unit 2, Llys Aur, Llanelli Gate, Dafen, Llanelli, SA14 8LQ or made via the online version of this notice at funeral-notices.co.uk
