Beloved husband of Lydia, cherished father of Martin and Fay, and a deeply loved grandad and great-grandad. A man whose life was marked by kindness, quiet strength and unwavering devotion to those he loved, John leaves behind a legacy woven through generations and carried in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. His laughter, wisdom and gentle spirit will remain in treasured memories, in stories shared around family tables, and in the countless lives touched by his warmth and friendship. Though his journey on earth has ended, the love he gave so freely will continue to shine brightly in those he leaves behind.
A private family funeral service will be held to celebrate John's life and to give thanks for the many blessings of his ninety years.
In the days following the funeral, family and friends will be warmly invited to share their memories, reflections and tributes.
