I knew Ceinwen years ago when she and Derek were ministering in Ashford, Middx. My husband and I had recently taken up ministry in a local church (Cranford), and were were part of a group that met as a fraternal in Derek and Ceinwen's home. We were all younger and inexperienced in the ministry, so Derek and Ceinwen were sort of 'mum and dad'. Derek led the pastors' session, and Ceinwen the wives' group. Every time, when we were on our way home, and discussed what we had learned, I used to say 'When I grow up, I want to be a pastor's wife just like Ceinwen!'. What a role model she was. (I aspired, but never reached it!)
