Beloved husband of Judy, dearly loved dad of Fiona and Clare, dear father in law of Simon and Iain and much loved grandad of Ben, Caitlin, Emma and Taryn. Funeral service in Guisborough Parish Church on Tuesday January 10th at 3.30pm prior to cremation. Will friends please meet at Church. Family flowers only please, there will be a collection plate at Church for donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, for both Church Funds and The R.N.L.I (Redcar)

I was a member of the school Scout & Explorer troops between 1967 and 1974 and owe a huge debt to Roy (and Peter Jackson and MikeTailby too) for his leadership in providing experiences, and teaching skills and values, that shaped my life, probably more than the school's education itself.
