Esme Enid JoyceFRYFormerly Rowsell From Ashton Vale in Bristol, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday 16th February 2022, at the age of 95, after a short admission to the Bristol Royal Infirmary but following many years of suffering with COPD. Esme was the widow of Capt. (retired) Anthony John Fry (Tony) and is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter and their families. Esme was a keen ballet dancer from a very young age and enjoyed many years performing on stages throughout the Bristol area and then went on to teach ballet and dance to many up and coming young dancers. Following their marriage, Esme and Tony had numerous postings by the British Army to Hong Kong and Germany and then eventually returned to Taunton and then finally back to Bristol before Tony retired. Esme continued working as a school secretary until her own retirement. The funeral will be held at 3pm on Wednesday 16th March 2022 at South Bristol Crematorium.
