Passed peacefully on 14th October 2026, aged 94 years.
Devoted husband of the late Ann,
much loved dad of Andrew and Jamie,
loving father-in-law of Anna and Liz,
adored grandpa and great grandpa of Katy, Natasha, Hannah,
Ruaridh, Freddy, Flynn and Livia, brother-in-law of Jim and Margaret
and uncle of James and Emma. Derek will be deeply missed.
Funeral service to take place at Saltwell Crematorium
on Friday 6th November at 12 noon.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be left on the day and proceeds will be forwarded to Cancer Research UK.
Following the service, all are invited to The Ravensworth Arms, Lamesley
to continue sharing memories.
