DerekHODGSONOf Woodlands Care Home, Clayton-Le-Moors (formerly of Great Harwood and Oswaldtwistle)
died on Sunday, August 9, aged 91 years.
Derek and his wife, Mavis, owned the butcher's shop on Catlow Hall Street, Oswaldtwistle for most of the 1960s and '70s and then a butcher's shop on Rawtenstall Market until their retirement in the mid 90s.
A dearly loved husband of Mavis, a much-loved father of Susan and Julie and a dear father-in-law of Peter and Paul.
A treasured grandad of Ben, Leah, Harry and Molly and Great Grandad to George, Owen and Ida.
Derek will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.
Derek's funeral was held on August 19.
