MikeLANEIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Lane. Mike passed away peacefully in hospital in the early hours of Thursday 21st May.
Mike was a true character and well known throughout Cornwall and Devon, having owned Mitchell Garage before founding Britannia Lanes alongside his wife, Sylvia, in 1974.
Outside of the business, Mike enjoyed many hobbies and passions, not least motor racing, where he and Sylvia achieved great success together over many years.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00pm on Tuesday 9th June at St Mary's Church, Ottery St Mary, EX11 1DP, followed by a wake at Rockbeare Manor, EX5 2FE, from 4:00pm.
