Peacefully at home on Thursday 9th May 2024 aged 87 years.

George, beloved husband of the late Norma, much loved and respected father of Lynne and Kevin and stepfather of Lorraine, Derek and Keith, dear father in law of Steve and Gillian, also a very much loved Granda, Great Granda and Brother.

Family and friends please meet for funeral service at South Shields Crematorium on Thursday 30th May at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Society or Macmillan Cancer Support.

George will be deeply missed by family and friends.
