ANTHONY MARSHALLAnthony Marshall, a family man known to family and friends as ‘Ginge’, died in a road accident while out jogging near his home in Probus, near Truro.Mr Marshall, was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital shortly after the incident on 28 November, 2009, but died sooner after. He was 35 and about to become a father for the second time.He left a partner, Hannah Thomas, and three-year-old daughter, Esme.In a series of moving tributes, family and friends spoke of their "utter grief" at having lost "one of the greatest guys in the world".Martin Luscombe, who was one of Mr Marshall's closest friends, said the death had caused huge distress to the many people who loved and admired him.Mr Luscombe, who had played rugby with his friend for many years, said: "He was a genuine family man, and would do anything for anyone without ever moaning about it."Everyone will agree that he was great fun to be around. Things were always fun when Ginge was about."We did almost everything together and had a great time doing it. He was one of the greatest guys in the world and he touched many people's lives."In a heartfelt testimony, Mr Luscombe also said how his friend's young daughter "idolised" her father. He said: "Ginge absolutely doted on his daughter, and Es just loved him so much."He used to take her swimming all the time, and was expecting another child in the New Year."Mr Marshall's partner, Hannah, said: "Ginge was a popular, well-known and loved family man. He was a devoted dad to Esme and will be hugely missed by everyone who knew him."Mr Marshall, a keen sportsman, regularly played centre for St Austell Rugby Club first team, and the home fixture with Wellington was to be marked by a minute's silence in his memory. The number 12 shirt, which Mr Marshall wore with St Austell, will be temporarily retired as a mark of respect.A club spokesman described Mr Marshall as "one of the club's longest serving and most respected players".Mr Marshall, who was well known in the village, was also a successful businessman, having been a partner in the M and M Scaffolding company in St Austell. His business partner and close friend Nick McCoan described Mr Marshall as "not just my business partner and my rugby partner, but also my best mate".http://www. thisiswesternmorning news.co. uk/news/Tributes-fat her-hit- cars-jogging/article -1564842- detail/article.html [thisiswesternmornin gnews.co. uk]

Ginge, it seems like only yesterday you were in our house asking where I kept the coffee and now I can't quite believe how the future has unfolded. You were my real life Richard Branson- you started from scratch and built a business we were all so proud of. You and I over the last seven years were the non-Thomas people and I will never forget us rolling our eyes at each other one Christmas in Cumbria! Han, the baby and your little poppet will be forever looked after by the ones you left behind. Love Laura x

You gave us laughter & joy.
You gave us tears & pain.
You gave us Hannah, Esme & "bump" to love.
You made us so very proud of you.

Although we didn't personally know Tony, we felt like we had met him thru his Dad and Elaine. They were so proud of him, and always spoke of Esme and Hannah when they were in the U.S. You'll be in their hearts forever. We are as shocked as everyone else, and can't believe this horrible accident has happened. Our hearts go out to his Dad, Elaine, Cath, Esme, Hannah and his newborn child.

I remember watching you play centre in awe, watching ur opposite numbers try to penetrate the "brick wall" that you and Murphy would put up, watching you run and spread the ball at such pace, watching you shake hands with the enemy when the final whistle was blown, and watching you drink way more than i could handle in the club after the game! You were an inspiration to anyone you crossed paths with and will be dearly missed by them all, a true legend....see you soon buddy xxx

You made ginger hair fashionable.
You made a beautiful and loving family.
You drank like a fish.
You enjoyed every waking moment of life.
You made us all laugh.
You thought you were a pro surfer, until you got washed on the rocks and the helicopter came to the rescue.
You regularly flashed the contents of your underpants.
You were the most amazing Daddy.
You were unique.
You certainly made a lasting impact on this world.
Rusty, the legend x

The best son that anyone could wish for.

Life can be so cruel to take you away from us just when you were beginning to enjoy the rewards and comforts of your hard work. We are so proud of what you have achieved in such a short lifetime with a wonderful family, a successful business and great friends.

You have a loving family in Hannah, Es and the baby, we know that you will watch over and protect them and we will be looking after them from down here for you. We are missing your cheeky grin and sense of humour already, remembering all the good times with you...... and the times when you were a mischievious little bugger!

Hope you realised how much we loved you while you were here with us. Always in our hearts, you will never be forgotten.
All our love

Dad & Elaine
