The obituary notice of Vera ADAMS

Vera and Bob left such an impression on me when my friend Gill and I met them on a cruise. The obvious and easy affection and love for one another was a joy to witness and they were so easy to be with. My goodness, did we laugh too. Vera wore a perfume that was lovely and that has been my choice of perfume since then so I often think of Vera when I’m getting ready to go out. That will continue. Glad that she’s reunited with Bob and her girls. Elaine Morris

So sad to read this and l hope the last few months have been kind to Vera as l know how fiercely independent she was. My friend Elaine and l met Vera and Bob on a cruise and kept in touch with a visit when he was alive and latterly with the occasional phone call (during Covid) and Christmas cards. We both live in Sussex so will not be able to attend the funeral but send our condolences to family and friends. We will remember her and Bob always fondly and with laughter. Mrs Gillian Miller
