David HarborneAPPLEBYPassed away peacefully at his home in Torquay on February 22nd 2023. Aged 82 years. The devoted husband of Heather (deceased). Dearly loved father of Richard (deceased), Jane, Fleur and Lee. Proud Grandad to Sam, Katie, Lucy, Holly and Jack. David will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all family and friends. All welcome at the funeral service which will be held at All Saints' Church, Babbacombe on Friday 24th March at 3pm. Rest in Peace. Arthur and I were so sorry to learn that David Appleby had passed away. I worked with him for many years and often met him socially, together with his late wife Heather. David was so calm whilst I was finding accommodation for visiting summer students, sometimes I was in quite a panic! Always helpful and friendly, he will be sadly missed.
