I met Allen and Olive when we moved in next door to them when they lived in Bahrain. It was instant friendship, she loved my 2 little girls and when my granny and Allen’s Mum Jenny came to visit, they hit it off too.
There are few people in this world as genuinely kind and caring as Olive, and I missed them when they moved to Cyprus, we went to stay with them and the wine was cheaper than water, so there was a lot of hilarity and dancing around !!
I never did get to Malta sadly but we have always kept in touch every so often, but it was a huge shock to hear she had passed away.
You’ll be together again with Allen and Ben now Olive. But I’ll think of you often and smile every time I think of you and treasure all the memories we made together.

I have only recently heard the news of Olive's (Oli) passing, My husband, Jim Glencross, were friends with Olive & Allen for many years having lived in different countries with them & sharing many "tipples" together. We stayed with Olive in Malta & I treasure a photo of Olive & Jim together, fast asleep on a lounge after imbibing several glasses of wine. Olive & I had a week together on a cruise ship visiting Greece. She was a favourite with all the guests & staff alike. We kept in touch over the years but I hadn't heard from her for quite a while & only learned of her passing from Deborah, Jim's daughter. Naturally I raised a glass to her.
