Died peacefully on Thursday 9th May 2024 aged 96.

Loving husband of Judy, father of Sarah and Richard (d.1978) and grandfather to Oliver and Stanley. He will be much missed in all their lives.

Funeral at Oakley Wood Crematorium, CV33 9QP on 7 June at 11.30am.

Mr Barker taught me Latin for two years from 1985-7. I loved his lessons - always a little unconventional, but very memorable! His explanation of cricket in assembly one summer was typically delivered, very dry but very funny!! A lovely man and an inspirational teacher. My condolences to his family.
