Happy Birthday Mum, 9th September

To dearest Mum.
It is your birthday today, and the first time we have not been able to be there with you, or wish you happy birthday from afar.
It still seems such a short space of time since you were with us here to celebrate your special day.
We all share pleasant and everlasting memories of birthday outings, cards and cake and candles.
We will miss you especially today and wish you continued peaceful rest. There are fresh flowers on the grave and much sadness within your children.
I shall light a single candle in honour of this, your special day.
