Kathryn AnnBRIDGLAND KANEEdinburgh/West Lothian Surrounded by family and friends on 9th May 2016, Kathryn, much loved mum of Annwen, Samantha and Rebecca, beloved motherin-law of Steve and Nick, proud and loving granny of Jake, Luke, Madeleine and Charlotte, much loved sister of Hugh and "big sister" to Mahon. Loved and missed by all her extended family and friends. Kathryn will be remembered for her love of art and literature, her lifelong social activism and love of learning (as evidenced by her multiple degrees), but above all she will be remembered by all who knew her for her luminous smile, and her unending kindness, love and generosity. The family would like to thank all the staff at Strachan House for their excellent care. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's RC Cathedral, Edinburgh on Tuesday 24 May at 10am, thereafter to Mount Vernon Cemetery for 11.30am. Kathryn will be received into church on Monday 23rd May at 4.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations to Alzheimer's Society or Médecins Sans Frontières. R.I.P.
