Roger CharlesBUSBYDied unexpectedly on 22nd June 2019, aged 77 years. Husband of Maureen, partner of Inger, brother of Eileen and uncle to Clare, Stephen, Ruth and Andrew. Funeral service to be held at St Peter's Chapel, Exeter Crematorium on Wednesday 10th July at 1.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations to the British Heart Foundation may be given by retiring collection. Black not necessary - dress comfortably. Co-op Funeralcare, 119 Cowick Street EXeter EX4 1JD

Roger was an old friend and colleague of my parents, Bunny and Betty Hess, when they all worked together for the Birmingham Post & Mail. They are now in residential care but wished to pass on their condolences to Roger's family.
Roger also helped me when I joined the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary. Thanks Roger.
