JeanCLAYTON(nee Sharland) 1929-2016 On Aug 25, 2016, after a short illness, at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, Evelyn Jean, aged 87 years, of Shaftsbury (formerly of Somerton, St Woolos and Ringland); devoted wife of the late Kenneth George (Ken), mother of Stephen, sister of Grace and the late Eva, May, Winifred, Bert, Fred, John, Melvin (Shunny), Reg and Ted, adored aunt and great-aunt to many. Resting in the private chapel of Michael G Ryan Son and Daughters Ltd, 106-108 Malpas Rd, City of Newport until funeral Friday Sept 23, 2016, service at Shaftsbury Methodist Church 10am prior to interment at St Woolo's Cemetery at 11am. Flowers to the funeral home by 8.30am please, following the funeral all are welcome to join the family for light refreshments at Malpas Court Community Centre, Whittle Drive, NP20 6PG, to share memories, pay tribute and celebrate Jean's life.
