Peacefully in Lindisfarne Care Home after a life well lived on Thursday 26th December 2024 aged 88 years. Ethel, beloved Wife of the late Alan, cherished Mam of John, David and Steven, adored Grandmother to Charlie, Grace, Nathan, Anne, Shannon, Mina, Lola and Ralf, loving Great Grandmother to Isaac, Alina, Leo, Aurora and Axel, much loved Sister to Rose and June and a dearly missed Aunty of Paul and Robert. Ethel will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Would family and friends please meet for funeral service on Tuesday 14th January at 1:15pm at West Road Cemetery Chapel, followed by committal at West Road Cemetery. All are welcome afterwards for light refreshments and a further celebration of Ethel's life at Benwell Hill Cricket Club. Flowers welcome. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made, if desired, in aid of Marie Curie and Stroke Association. Ethel is dearly missed and will always be remembered.
