GordonFRIELSadly passed away peacefully on Monday 11th July, 2022 at Aintree University Hospital with his family by his side. Beloved husband to his wife Karen. Devoted dad to daughter Gayle and son Christopher. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Aidan, Tabitha and Ethan whom he adored. Loving brother of Andrew, Tony and Pennie. Reunited with his mum, Grace. Gordon will be remembered for his love of his family, his commitment to helping others and dedication to seeking fairness and justice. Our hearts are broken. We will miss you every day and we have happy memories of you that will last us a lifetime. A celebration of life Service will be held at Thornton Crematorium on Wednesday 3rd August at 11:15am. Family flowers only please, but if desired, donations will be gratefully received for South Sefton foodbank, a cause close to Gordon's heart. I always counted myself as fortunate to have had Gordon as a brother-in-law. His kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, humour and commitment to working towards making this world a gentler, fairer place to live in, all define his approach to life.
You made a mark in this world, Gordon. I won't forget you.
