Jimmy passed away peacefully on 21st June 2024 Aged 98 years. Beloved Husband of the late Lily, Loving Dad of Ros and Trish, Father in law to Bob. Devoted Grandad to Robert, his wife Kath, Jessica and the late Michael. Grandad Jimmy to Jake and Maddie.

Would friends and family please join us for the Funeral service at the West Road Crematorium on Monday 15th July 2024 at 11.00am.

Family flowers only please, in lieu of flowers you can donate to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation if you wish, donations can be made at the funeral service or online.

I grew up across the road from Jimmy and Lily. They were such warm, friendly neighbours and always so kind to us. My Mum enjoyed writing to them every Christmas and receiving their updates long after we moved away. Sorry to hear the sad news, sending love to family and friends x x x

I first met Jim when I moved into my flat underneath his. Jim and his lovely wife Lily made me feel welcome and we quickly became good neighbours and friends.
He was one of kind. A true gent who was always smartly dressed and was kind to me and especially to my son Daniel. Thank you Jim
