A fellow amateur radio enthusiast, Alan beguiled us with his stories and quaint sayings (‘get your nightie on time’, ‘time to put the big light out’, etc) every day on the local repeater. Sadly, I never met him but I shall miss hearing his distinctive voice and the many stories that he had to tell. RIP Karl M0KHB.
