Peacefully on Tuesday 1st June, Richard of Greenfield Avenue, Margam, Port Talbot, after a short but cruel illness, with his family by his side and in the care of all of the wonderful staff throughout the Princess of Wales Hospital, especially Y Bwthyn Newydd Care Unit. Beloved husband and best friend of Jane. A very proud dad of Gareth and Stephen. Loving father-in-law of Rachel. Cherished grampa of Ben and Abigail. Dearly loved son of the late Ann and Len. Dear brother of Peter. A special son-in-law of Mary and the late Bill. Much loved brother-in law of Chris, Bill, Brian, Gail and Sandra. Richard was the Ex Sec of Margam Catholic Club, Member of the SCOW Golf Club, Former player The Research Centre Football Team, BSC Tennis Club Member and Margam Youth Club Football. Richard will be dearly missed by all his loving family and his many many friends. Funeral Monday 14th June service at Our Lady of Margam R.C. Church at 1.45pm prior to a service at Margam Crematorium at 2.30pm. Due to the current restrictions both services are by invitation only but please join in outside either the church or crematorium.
